Did I mention flowers?

Flowers. Love them. Love their smell, look, assortment and the variety of the different types of flowers. What are my favorites? Well, I love roses. Good ol stop and smell the roses. I have already taught my kids to never walk past a rose without smelling it. They deserve to be smelled. God gave them an amazing fragrance that should be enjoyed by all. Now, at our current house....we are rose-less. That will definitely be changing! I usually buy them in the late winter when you can get the bare root plants. So much cheaper and just as good as any others! I have to have a variety of smells and colors. Just have to!!! But, alas, I have no pictures of roses to share!!! Isn't that mean!!!? I have another favorite. Well, not just one, I have many, but I wanted to share another favorite today. It's the peony. Simple, dainty at first, rare and unlike any other. When I say rare, I say that more from my own experience!!! Around here, my husband seems to think they're weeds, so he has (in the past) pulled them out. So, they are a rare flower around here. BUT, this year I had a beautiful white peony bloom. Only one, but it was worth the wait!!!
